President’s CornerAs we shared several weeks ago, the county does not have sufficient funding to installan asphalt runway for the club. As a result, we have decided to move forward with repairs toour current runway. The basic plan is to lay about three inches of asphalt milling over theexisting cloth. Once the millings are leveled and compacted, the surface will be coated withasphalt sealer. The resulting surface will be better than our current cloth runway and will beeasier to repair when needed in the future.
