The next project for me personally for the website is to work with our board and members to make it easier to see our events and photos that have been taken. This is a work in progress, and I have added a link under the photo’s menu as start.

FRIA Application was APPROVED!

Great news everyone our field is now approved as FRIA field.

Effective 09/26/2023 unless you are flying in a FRIA approved field drones must have a RemoteID.

What is a FRIA?

“Drones Without Remote ID can fly in FAA-Recognized Identification Area or FRIA”
A FRIA is a defined geographic area where drones can be flown without Remote ID equipment. Both the drone and the pilot must be located within the FRIA’s boundaries throughout the operation. In addition, the pilot of the drone must be able to see it at all times throughout the duration of the flight
